Volunteer with Mission of Yahweh

Serving Together as A Cup of Christ

A Cup of Christ is honored to partner with Mission of Yahweh for a meaningful day of service. This volunteer opportunity allows us to come together as a community to serve women and children experiencing homelessness and to be a tangible blessing through hands-on service.

Volunteering with Mission of Yahweh is a beautiful way to live out our faith, extend compassion, and support a mission rooted in dignity, care, and restoration. Whether this is your first time volunteering or you’ve served before, we invite you to join us as we serve with love and purpose.

📋 Required Volunteer Application
All volunteers must complete the Mission of Yahweh volunteer application to participate.
Applications must be submitted no later than February 28 to be eligible to volunteer.

Please read carefully before submitting your application:

  • Select “Group” (not Individual) when prompted

  • Enter “A Cup of Christ” as the Group/Partner Organization

  • Under availability, be sure to include Saturdays
    (You may add additional days if you are available)

⚠️ Important Notes (Please Read Carefully)

  • While we would love to have everyone from A Cup of Christ volunteer, there are only 8 volunteer spots available for this opportunity. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come basis.

  • After submitting your volunteer application, you must reach out to us to let us know you’ve completed the process so we can add you to the A Cup of Christ volunteer group.

  • If you do not contact us after submitting the form, you will not be eligible to volunteer, even if your application is approved.

Join A Cup of Christ for a relaxed and uplifting morning of connection at PJ’s Coffee. This gathering is a space to slow down, enjoy a cup of coffee, and grow together through meaningful conversation and faith-filled fellowship.

We’ll spend time sharing testimonies, lifting one another in prayer, and building fellowship in a warm, welcoming environment. Whether you’re new to A Cup of Christ or a familiar face, come as you are and be refreshed in community.

Join A Cup of Christ for a meaningful and creative time of connection as we collaborate with Covered Bible Bar for a guided fellowship experience rooted in scripture and community. This gathering will include a guided group fellowship paired with a hands-on craft activity designed to encourage reflection, creativity, and spiritual growth.

Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided as we come together in a warm, welcoming space to share, learn, and be refreshed. Bring your Bible and invite a friend to experience fellowship with you.

  • Cost: $15 (includes supplies) - Pay @ the event

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and if you’d like, you can purchase a t-shirt on our website to wear to the event. Most importantly, bring a friend and walk with us as we start the year together in prayer.

Your first small drink is on us—choose from coffee, tea, latte, frappe, or lemonade—because community is always better when it’s shared. 💛

Whether you’re new or have been part of our community for a while, come as you are, bring a friend, and be ready to leave refreshed and encouraged.

A Cup of Christ joyfully invites you to join us as we celebrate ONE year of fellowship, faith, and community!

What began as a small gathering of women united by faith has grown into a beautiful sisterhood of encouragement, prayer, and purpose. Over the past year, we’ve shared testimonies, worshipped together, served our community, and watched God move in extraordinary ways.

Enjoy a morning filled with laughter, reflection, and gratitude as we look back on all that God has done and look forward to the blessings ahead. This intimate brunch will feature fellowship, words of inspiration, and moments of thanksgiving as we honor the women who have poured into this ministry.

Attire: Semi-formal brunch attire – dress to celebrate with elegance and joy

Christmas Supplies Collection Drive

This Christmas season, A Cup of Christ invites you to help us bless the women and children at The Mission of Yahweh with a special gift of love, hope, and encouragement.

Many of these individuals are walking through challenging seasons, and your generosity can remind them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. Each item represents more than a donation — it’s a reflection of Christ’s compassion and the joy that comes from giving.

Please bring your items to Lynley or Ameyah, and we’ll ensure they’re delivered to the Mission in time for Christmas.

If you’re unable to bring a physical donation, monetary donations are also welcome and will go directly toward purchasing additional donations and essential items for the individuals we serve.

Together, let’s make this holiday one filled with warmth, kindness, and faith.

Community Outreach

A Cup of Christ invites you to join us for a day of service and compassion as we share care packages with our local homeless community. This outreach is an extension of our mission to pour love, hope, and the light of Christ into the lives of others.

Each package will include essential hygiene items, water, and a handwritten note of encouragement. We believe that a simple act of kindness, paired with prayer and genuine conversation, can make a lasting impact.

Volunteers will gather to distribute care packages, offer prayer to those who wish to receive it, and remind our community that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, a joyful spirit, and a willingness to serve.
